ClackaCraft is a family owned business that is committed to producing a quality, comfortable and long lasting product. As the world’s largest manufacturer of drift boats, they have been building quality fiberglass drift boats for over 30 years. Nothing beats time tested, proven methods for strong drift boat construction. Look at the ClackaCraft Guarantee: our boats are guaranteed against punctures and leaks for as long as you own it. How many ClackaCraft boats have failed over the past 30 years? Virtually none! Other boat manufacturers, desperate for publicity, may try to make a splash in the industry by claiming to introduce new materials or expensive add-ons to make their boats stronger.

At ClackaCraft, rather than hyping up so called new materials or expensive add-ons to sell their boats, they instead make actual design improvements; such as their Tunnel Hull and tracking channels that improve the way the boat handles. For over 30 years, ClackaCraft has been producing drift boats for Professional Fishing Guides and Anglers alike. Engineered to last a lifetime, their fiberglass drift boats are skillfully built by true craftsmen from state of the art materials and ever-evolving technology.

Their mission is to manufacture and sell top quality, non-polluting watercraft that are safe, fun to use, and built to withstand years of heavy use. Pacific Tailboats is a developer and manufacturer of innovative human-powered watercraft employing proprietary state-of-the-art propulsion technologies. Pacific Tailboats is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Turbosystems Engineering Inc.. Their products are of the highest quality and are assembled as orders are received. They sell complete watercraft comprising our patent-pending propulsion unit mounted on a hull. They also sell propulsion units-only. They encourage you, the customer, to install the propulsion unit on your own hull. They will provide easy-to-follow installation instructions.

This minimizes shipping size/weight and costs, and provides you the flexibility to build tailboat hulls for different applications. For overseas customers, they can ship the propulsion unit in compact kit form to be assembled by yourself with common hand-tools. Exclusive and non-exclusive licenses to tailboat technology are available. The pedal-powered tailboat simulates the swimming motion of a class of fish called “thunniform swimmers”. Sharks, tuna and marlin are thunniform swimmers, and are among the fastest of all fish. General application questions are answered free of charge. This support includes phone/email support and installation data on the existing products. If you want to mount the propulsion system on a hull of your choice, we’ll be happy to assist you.
