Buccaneer

Buccaneer was established in 1976 by Gerry & Jenny Gerrand. Gerry is a boat builder by trade. When new boat models are built, a promotional boat is used by us for, fishing, skiing, diving or overnighting to ensure the utmost in the boat’s safety, construction and quality is achieved. They are committed to the Boat Building Industry and as a sign of this commitment they invest in the training of Boat Building Apprentices. Buccaneer builds quality from inside out, every boat is built in the best way they know how. The Buccaneer team take pride in every Buccaneer boat that they build. Their suppliers take pride in supplying our raw materials. They begin with attention to detail. Pre-production boats are thoroughly tested. Buccaneer boats are backed by a 5 year hull structural warranty as well as a one year full marine warranty.

This warranty is given to the initial retail Purchaser of the boat only and is not transferable. Buccaneer boats are manufactured to NZ CPC Boat Building Standard Coastguard Approved. The extra length transom with swim platforms, incorporating the portofino stern is horsepower saving, combined with the easily driven hull gives Buccaneer boats performance equal to other designs that use more powerful engines. Qualifying Manufacturers have undertaken to build boats to an agreed NZ Coastguard Standard and also provide a minimum 2 year structural hull warranty. This entitles them to attach a CPC plate to each qualifying boat.

Bladerunner Boats

Their small family owned business was established 14 years ago in September 1992. They have been busy building the bladerunner catamaran boat design since then. The design has developed over the years to the sleeker, glossier looking lines she shows today. Without compromising the ride or the safety we have produced a stylish cat with class. Greg Shine, the director of the company, designs and oversees the building of all our vessels. Using Mac Surf each boat is computer generated and rendered before cutting begins, this gives a good indication of performance before starting the build process. Each individual boat is designed and built with the owners unique requirements taken into consideration this gives you a boat suited to what you need.

Located in the North West of Auckland in the small town of Kumeu their vessels are launched on the East Coast at West Harbour Marina. Their sea trials take place in the Auckland Harbour. This 10 metre Game Fishing Vessel has been launched and sets off to the Mahurangi Harbour. This boat is built with the wife in mind as well with a beautiful Wooden Interior. She is not only a comfortable ride on the water but has a comfortable, stylish Interior as well. With Teak, Hollly and Cherry the Interior is polished and stunning. The sleeping quarters are roomy and very comfortable. The galley is very easy to use and definatley she is ready to catch and cook in style some of NZ’s best fish.
