The renowned WINDY boats are built at their modern and well equipped production facilities at Skarpnes, just outside Arendal on the southern coast of Norway. The Company employs 160 people producing models ranging from 25 to 58 feet in their WINDY range; and from 25 to 28 feet in our Windy Oceancraft range. Windy Boats AS was established in 1966 by Hugo Vold. His father was a fisherman, and his family had many anxious moments as storms raged in the Skagerrak Channel. All his fathers boats were called Vindy, and he brought every one of them safely back to port.

When Windy Boats AS was established in 1966, a fine leisure boat was created first and foremost thanks to the skilled craftsmanship that had been handed down through the generations.
