Since 1949, Waterloo Boats has proudly served Iowa and the upper Midwest’s boating community. John Hofstadter has been with the Company for 35 years. His credentials include “Mercury Master Mechanic” for Mercury outboards and Mercruiser stern drives. Factory trained for OMC and Volvo stern drive and Yamaha, Johnson, Evinrude, Force outboards. John’s hobbies include boating, water and snow skiing, biking, woodworking, and family activities with his wife, son, and daughter. Curt Gilles is the Rig Foreman as well as service tech and has been with the Company for 19 years. Curt is certified in Mercury and Force outboards and factory trained on Mercruiser sterndrives and Johnson, Evinrude, Yamaha, outboards; plus Rinker, Bayliner, Maxum boats. Curt’s hobbies include guitars, skiing, golf, fishing, boating, boat restoration, home improvements, and family activities with his wife, (4) sons, and dog Marley.
