We launched on the internet first to develop the best programming mix for our audience.

The Boating Channel, Inc. was founded in 1997 by boaters who have spent years cruising the waters in and around Long Island, New York and surrounding areas. The idea for a television network dedicated to a water based view of the planet came about during one of those long cold winters that the northeast has every now and then.
