Under the direction of Tom Slane since 1984, Slane Marine has been restoring and repairing older and damaged boats to bring them up to the “State of the Art” in yachting. Slane has specialized primarily in the reconstruction of Hatteras vessels, which is a natural relationship as Tom is the son of the late Willis Slane, founder of the legendary Hatteras Yachts company.Slane Marine offers a wide variety of marine related products and services to the discriminating yacht owner including damage repair, propulsion system upgrades, interior refits and even complete “to the stringers” reconstruction! Although they specialize in Hatteras vessels, they are not limited by brand, size or type of boat. From the sport runabout to hard working sportfishermen to opulent motor yachts, Slane Marine is your Marine Resource Headquarters.
They pride themselves on keeping up with the very latest in technology and services for the boating industry and employ the newest construction and design techniques to create the ultimate yachts.Slane Marine offers a variety of Marine and “boat related” services including repair, lamination work and interior refitting. They also offer a variety of Marine Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services for boat manufacturers, yards and private owners.Often an owner has questions about various aspects of his or her vessel such as performance specs or interior arrangements, but really has no easily accessible resources through which to find answers, suggestions or just plain advice. This is why we have opened our Engineering Department on a consultancy basis.
